In the summer you will want to be sure to take advantage of one of Goderich's three fantastic public beaches and a spectacular sunset. The easily accessed parks provide sandy beaches, great swimming, windsurfing and sailing. Rotary Cove beach has lifeguards during July & August that keep a watchful eye on swimmers and lake conditions. Relax knowing that you and your family are swimming in safe waters. The waterfront parks are generously equipped with clean picnic shelters, public washrooms, running water and an abundance of free parking.

If you just want to relax, you can find plenty of quiet places to sit and take in all the natural beauty along the Lake Huron shoreline. What truly distinguishes these facilities from other lakeside parks is that all three beaches are connected by an old fashioned boardwalk. It runs along the waterfront and joins up with the Maitland Trail and Menesetung Walking Bridge which towers over the Maitland River.
